OFA Champion of Health Keegan

Our May 2010 Champion of Health, BIS/BISS CH. Poole’s Ide Got Water RN - “Keegan” is owned and handled by Stacy Duncan, is co-owned by Colleen McDaniel, Cathy Shelby and Greg Siner. His breeders are Greg Siner – Poole’s Ide Irish Water Spaniels and Debbie Patterson.  He was the #1 IWS in 2009, and is #1 to date in 2010 with 8 All Breed Bests in Show to his credit, including three in the last two weeks.  Keegan was selectively shown in 2009 but is hitting the circuit in 2010.  Earlier this year, he won the breed and earned a Sporting Group Placement (Group 2) at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show.  At the IWSCA National Specialty in 2009, Keegan earned his Rally Novice Title in three attempts with three passing scores and placing in each class.  He has sired two litters of puppies with the first litter being just 8 months old.  Two of the puppies from that litter are already major pointed.  Keegan has all of his health clearances including Hips, Elbows, Eyes and Thyroid and is a CHIC dog by meeting the health screening requirements established by the Irish Water Spaniel Club of America.
